JANAA calm companion for your five daily prayers
Prayer times, a live Qibla compass, a full Quran library with offline downloads, and a 604-page Mushaf reader — all on your phone, free to use from the first launch.
No account required. Works fully standalone — the Jana speaker is an optional extra.
Phone-only, by design
Every core feature works the moment you open the app — no speaker, no sign-up, no setup. Pairing a Jana speaker later is an enhancement, never a requirement.
- Prayer times computed from your location, with Hijri date
- Qibla compass using your phone's own sensors
- Full Quran library, offline downloads, background playback
- 604-page Mushaf reader with Tafsir, bookmarks and reading progress
Always know what's next
Accurate prayer times for your location with a live countdown, the Hijri date, and a reciter picker for the Adhan — previewed before you commit to one.
A compass that knows when to stop
A live rotating compass finds the great-circle bearing to the Kaaba using your phone's magnetometer, with a gentle haptic buzz the moment you're facing it.
Every reciter, on or offline
Browse reciters and tracks, download a sourate or an entire reciter for offline listening, and keep playback going in the background with lock-screen controls.
The real 604-page Mushaf, word by word
Swipe through the authentic Uthmani layout, bookmark pages, save ayahs, and open commentary from multiple scholarly sources without losing your place.
A Hadith, a Dua, a Name of Allah — every day
The home screen brings a daily Hadith, Dua and a random Name of Allah with a tap-to-count dhikr button, plus your reading goal at a glance.
The Jana speaker
A Wi-Fi connected mosque-style speaker that plays the Adhan out loud at each prayer, lets you cast Quran recitation from your phone, and lights its dome softly — all without a cloud account.
- Prayer times computed on the device itself
- Plays the Adhan automatically, every prayer, out loud
- Stream any Quran track from the app straight to the speaker
- Everything stays on your home Wi-Fi — no cloud relay, ever
Built to ask for as little as possible
- No account needed to use the app
- The speaker talks only on your home Wi-Fi, never through a cloud relay
- No analytics, no ad trackers, nothing sold to anyone
Start with the app. Add the speaker whenever you're ready.
Jana is free to download and fully usable on its own.
